This little guy impresses me more and more each day. His is such a good puppy who wants to please his owner. He is excelling in his socialization work, loves meeting kids at the park and car rides. He is off to a great start! He is doing well with sit, walking on a lead and meeting people of all ages. He will grow up to be a wonderful companion to have on any adventure. He will be right by your side, ready and willing. Everybody loves his spotted feet. He loves toys and will go collect his favorite one and bring it to you to share. He is so sweet!

What My Puppy Knows
We start potty training our puppies at 2 weeks. Even before their eyes are open they are learning what it means to be a good dog.
They have been socialized to many farm animals (horses, goats, sheep, cats, other dogs).
They enjoy meeting people, and have been on several outings to the hardware store, farm store or anyplace that will let them in.
Training will need to be continued and we offer recommendations for a variety of training resources we have found to be highly effective.

A combination of her herding dad and her hunting-capable mom, Lightning is one of the smartest dogs you will find. She is a joy to our family, and incredibly loyal and loving.

Oliver is one of those charming dogs who loves his humans more than anything else. His signature move is putting his head on your lap and looking up adoringly. When he’s not playing with his doggie friends on the farm or running across the field, he wants nothing more than to follow us around or sit at our feet.
Lightning and Oliver love to spend time running around the farm together, exploring, and basking in all that nature has to offer. As per their breed, both dogs truly enjoy rounding up animals and helping to move the horses around. Oliver and Lightning are quite adept at assisting in this operation and take their job very seriously. Lightning’s father (Einstein) is an accomplished working farm dog descended from a long line of herding dogs, so it is in her blood. Some favorite activities include playing in the creek and racing the horses.

Daisy’s herding instincts are an accompaniment to her zeal for fun. Some of Daisy’s favorite activities include playing in the creek and racing the horses. “Glee” is the word that comes to mind when watching this event.
