What is an Aussiedoodle?
The Aussiedoodle breed is considered one of the most intelligent designer breeds. It is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle. Our puppies are standard size dogs and will be between 30-55 lbs as adults. The crossing of these two breeds (the Australian Shepard and Standard Poodle) make a sup-smart pup. Some of the traits of an Aussiedoodle include patience, intelligence, obedience and loyalty to their owners. They love to be active and play and curl up at their owners’ feet. These unique qualities of the Aussiedoodle make them wonder companions. They are friendly and often curious, but they love to stick close to their owners. We believe our puppies represent the best of the Aussiedoodle breed.
Things that help to understand Aussiedoodle:
- They want their families nearby them all the time, they need to be part of the pack, this mean living in the home with their families.
- They have webbed feet and most love water.
- They are not big on fetch but can, if taught early in life.
- They need to be well socialized during the first 3-6 months. That means having people come to your house and taking them out to meet people at store and in the neighborhood.
